Micromax has launched a high capacity battery smartphone and also named it accordingly - Micromax Canvas Power A96 . It is a 5-inch FWVGA display phone powered by a quad core processor and running the older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS . Micromax made its name in the mobile phone market by launching high capacity battery feature phones and rose from an unknown company to a top desi mobile brand . So I think Mircomax will never forget its feature phone’s USP , marathon battery , it has used in this phone and is expected to use it in future smartphones . But do you think high capacity battery is more important than an optimized OS/Hardware ? (as this new battery still gives up to 13.5 hours talk-time)
