Micromax has launched a high capacity battery smartphone and also named it accordingly - Micromax Canvas Power A96 . It is a 5-inch FWVGA display phone powered by a quad core processor and running the older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS . Micromax made its name in the mobile phone market by launching high capacity battery feature phones and rose from an unknown company to a top desi mobile brand . So I think Mircomax will never forget its feature phone’s USP , marathon battery , it has used in this phone and is expected to use it in future smartphones . But do you think high capacity battery is more important than an optimized OS/Hardware ? (as this new battery still gives up to 13.5 hours talk-time)

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 GT-S7582 Price and Review

Samsung Mobiles has launched the Galaxy S Duos 2 GT-S7582 that comes powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor, supports dual SIM and runs on Android 4.2 OS. This handset is priced at Rs. 10,999. The Galaxy S Duos 2 is available on Samsung India e Store.

The handset weighs just 118 grams with a 10.57mm thickness. The TFT screen is 4 inches supporting 16 M colors over 800×480 pixels resolution (WVGA). The Duos 2 is upgraded version of Samsung Galaxy S Duos.
This dual SIM handset includes a 5MP CMOS camera on the rear with LED flash and VGA camera on the front. Rear camera can record videos in 1280 x 720 px resolution at 30 fps. Duos 2 runs on Android 4.2. There is 4GB internal storage and about 768 MB RAM. Key features are 3G (HSPA+ 21Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) 2.4GHz with Wi-Fi direct, GPS with A-GPS/ GLONASS support and Bluetooth.
There are magnetic, accelero meter and proximity sensors. The 1500 mAh battery that the phone houses gives a talk-time of up to 8 hours on a single charge.

HTC One Max – 5.9″ Full HD Smart Phone with Finger-Print Scanner

The new HTC One Max is a 5.9-inch Full HD display smartphone powered by Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor .
